We're Taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge!
We’re excited to announce that Netmatters will be taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge.
Sixteen intrepid members of the Netmatters team will be climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – a total walking distance of 23 miles and an ascent just over 10,000ft!
The effort will most certainly be worth it, as we are participating to raise money for the CCHS Support Group. This group works tirelessly to help families throughout the UK affected by Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS).
CCHS is a rare genetic condition that causes abnormal development of the body’s automatic nervous system. This leads to those affected not being able to automatically control their breathing. Approximately 100 families across the UK are affected by CCHS.
The CCHS Support Group provides advocacy, education and research, and it is a cause that we at Netmatters value very highly.
With this in mind, we’d greatly appreciate any donation towards our efforts. We’ve got a goal of £1,500, which we’re sure will go a long way for the CCHS Support Group.
