Next, we review your process needs against the capabilities of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to ensure that all points are catered to. Where needed, our developers can create bespoke modules or software bolt-ons: this need will be identified and discussed with you at this stage.  

This stage will also help to identify who in your team will need training on the new system. 

It is important that all of your current data can be transferred safely onto the new system. This stage identifies which data you wish to carry over and plans for its safe conversion and transfer. This stage is also a great opportunity to spring-clean any data you don’t need to keep!

Once data has been populated, testing can begin. This will involve running the new system in parallel with your existing one for a period. This allows your staff to get familiar with the system before go-live, as well as testing for any errors or gaps. 

Testing is normally tiered and only moves on if successful: 

• Project team testing 
• Key user testing 
• Wider user testing

This is the exciting part! Your new business management system is ready to launch and replace existing systems. To reduce disruption during this stage, we plan carefully with you to allow for: 

• Post go-live system testing and issue feedback 
• Adequate technical and managerial resources allocated for time-sensitive changes   
• Prioritising any required updates or changes
• A solid fallback position for data management
