Train for a Career in Tech

A self-funded route into tech, built around your job, without student debt or a three-year degree.

A course built around your career, not the other way round

The Scion Coalition Scheme is delivered fully remote, so you can train from anywhere in the UK. The programme is designed to fit around full-time work, family life, and other commitments, so you can build your future without putting your present on hold.

Every Scion starts with the same foundational training in HTML, coding fundamentals, and developer best practice. From there, your content is tailored to your interests and the area you want to specialise in.

Web or software developer

Our senior developers have shaped the Scion scheme to take you from beginner to job-ready in the language and industry you choose. You'll cover the core skills first, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, before specialising in the area that excites you most. Our team will help you weigh up the strengths of each path so you can make an informed choice.

What Our Graduates Think

The Netmatters Scion Coalition Scheme took me from Zero to Hero. Joining the scheme with practically no web development experience, I was guided through a curated course and given detailed feedback on my work. The constant support from the team allowed me to grow to my full potential and challenged my thinking to see me improve with each day that passed. This wasn’t just a skills bootcamp, this was a working environment simulation to prepare me for employment. With encouraged collaboration, and frequent presentations about the industry, my peers and I felt confident that we were in the hands of experts.
