Notable Employee November 2020

Every department manager is asked to nominate an employee from their department, who they feel has done exceptionally well during the course of the previous month. Each one of these employees is then considered as a candidate for this award. Our people continue to deliver exceptional work at every turn, taking the challenges of 2020 in their stride. As ever, our notable nominees work hard to go above and beyond what is expected of them every day.

Our Notable of Notable nominees delivered the goods with their work on the recent Norfolk Business Awards, coordinating interviews, applications and much more.

The Most Notable of Notable Employees

Rebecca was an instrumental in submitting our now award-winning entries at this year’s Norfolk Business Awards – resulting in Netmatters winning ‘Investing In Future Growth’, ‘Skills of Tomorrow’ and being a finalist for the ‘Business of the Year’ award 2020. Rebecca assisted the Directors team in organising the various interviews, filming, and promoting our award wins online. – Lydia Whitney

This month’s other notable nominees:

Rob Edmunds - He's taken a chunk of new work absolutely in his stride - has been very thorough in making sure work is completed as per the task, and has been proactive in asking the right questions when he's unsure how to do something or needs further clarification. All in all, a great job. – Simon Wright

Michael Grimshaw - Generally being the quiet hero that he is, helping the team grow, as well as receiving high praise for some recent wireframes that were made so well that a concept for the work was no longer required. Excellent work Mike! – Simon Wright

Amanda Sharp -  for her constant willingness to be adaptable. Her role can be a little mixed and she does lots ‘behind the scenes’ but she just takes in her stride from what I see! She always answers to help with the big deliveries, and the stock room looks lush!  She’s been polite and friendly, works quickly and is willing to sit downstairs and cover reception with no qualms and just generally been ‘Netmatters’ branded!  - James Gulliver

Jordan McDowall – doing an absolute sterling job with the Scion Scheme video and being very willing to help at all times. Showing a very positive attitude and taking a loose brief and interpreting it well and producing the goods – James Gulliver

Josh Ralph – doing an excellent job on a recent large project, it’s really picking up some momentum, with increased spend levels, a big factor is the excellent relationship with Josh and the client. - Elliott Peacock
