James Mackay - Netmatters 10 Year Hero

Netmatters would like to give a big congratulations to James Mackay on surpassing ‘Legend’ status and becoming a Netmatters HERO – having now spent 10 years at Netmatters! This remarkable achievement is a representation of the passion and dedication that James has shown over the past 10 years and puts him amongst a very select group of individuals who have reached this milestone. 

Having joined Netmatters as a Web Developer in June 2013, James' unwavering commitment, unparalleled expertise, and superb work ethic progressed him to the role of Senior Systems Architect.  

It is hard to overstate how important James’ expertise has been to the Netmatters team over the years. From being the Senior Technical Consultant for our digital marketing department, to regularly stepping in as Web Development Manager, James’ impact can be felt throughout each and every department. 

With his endless enthusiasm and willingness to take on any challenge, James embodies what it means to be a part of Netmatters, and has played a pivotal role in shaping our Web Development offering into what it is today. For this, we can’t thank him enough!

After being with us for 10 years, James has grown into one of the most reliable and knowledgeable members of the Web team. James not only looks after one of the largest Squads in the department but also manages one of our largest customers and bespoke platforms. He's never afraid to throw his hat in and lend a hand in a time of need, regardless of how busy he is. 
 
His wealth of experience and perspective have helped guide Netmatters’ evolution over the last 10 years, I'm confident we wouldn't be where we are now without him. 
 
He's always been a true asset to the team and a solid technical resource - consistently taking a methodical and considered approach to a problem to get the best outcome for all.

Congratulations on becoming a Netmatters Hero James, we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store! As part of James' 10-year HERO status, we will plant 250 trees on behalf of James to our Ecologi Forest, helping improve our Carbon Footprint.
