Jorden Graduates the SCS

We are pleased to announce that after seven months on our Netmatters Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Jorden Hampton has successfully graduated. He has secured employment at a company in Ely, he is the first and only web developer at this business which is a great achievement.

The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why, the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of varying companies in the East Anglian region like Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.

During his time on the scheme, we have seen Jorden approach web development with enthusiasm and understanding. He has proved himself to be a confident learner and keen developer. We are confident he will excel in his new role and his success acts as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.

"Jorden has been a real asset to our Scion Scheme. He has a great attitude to learning and has no doubt a bright and  successful career ahead of him. Overall, the experience has been incredibly rewarding for both Jorden and Netmatters and we wish him luck" - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager

We’d like to once again congratulate Jorden and are extremely thankful for all of the dedication shown throughout his time here. We hope you join us in wishing Jorden congratulations and good luck with his career!
