Netmatters Sponsors Kett's Day and Fayre
We are pleased to announce that this weekend, Sunday the 1st of September, we will be sponsoring the Ketts Fun Day and Fayre happening in Wymondham. The event is taking place at the Old Rugby Club on Tuttles Lane and is in support of Wymondham’s heritage along with its famous resident Robert Kett.
The one day, family friendly, Living History event, celebrates Kett’s Rebellion of 1549. The event will feature popular fairground rides, lots of varied stalls including arts and crafts, books, gifts and homewares. It will also include a food court area featuring a hog roast, donuts, street food, hot dogs and a mobile bar. What could be better?
Throughout the day, there will also be live action demonstrations including medieval cooking and tool making skills, along with giving you the opportunity to interact with ‘characters’ who can explain what life was like during the turbulent period.
You will also have the opportunity to hear from Robert Kett who will be delivering his famous speech to the peasants before they march on Norwich and on to what became the Rebellion of 1549.
As a business that resides in Wymondham, it was important to us to get involved in this event and we are proud to be supporting it alongside other local businesses Longwater Gravel, Orchard Toys and Wymondham Garden Centre.
The event is taking place between 10:30am and 4pm on Sunday the 1st and our Netmatters team will be there in full force – make sure you keep an eye out for us!
With so much to do, we think it’s going to be a great day all round.
