Netmatters End-of Year Staff Awards 2018

Following a rather prosperous year here at Netmatters it was only right that we looked back at our achievements, but also forward to future efforts at our End-of-Year Company Briefing. 2018 truly was a year to celebrate: we built a stronger team, consistently noticed improvements in all areas, witnessed the Scion scheme go from strength to strength, won the Skills of Tomorrow Award at the EDP Norfolk Business Awards, and of course launched the Netmatters Blimp! And that's really only a snippet of our success. 

Understandably, without considerable dedication and effort from our employees, we wouldn't be where we are today. Because of this, we awarded those that we feel were particularly notable and deserved recognition in 2018. The top performers are as follows:

Best Newcomer - Samantha Lupton 

Sam settled into the Project Management team almost instantly, taking on projects with ease. Hardworking and reliable, but equally as approachable, she's a real asset to the company.

Most Improved - Sean Fulcher

Sean has effortlessly adapted his way of working to follow Netmatters' processes and procedures following the acquisition of Gapton Computers last year, and has grown tremendously in the last year because of this. 

Unsung Hero - Matt Chapman

Matt will deal with anything you throw at him. He's happy to help others within Netmatters, and applies that same approach to his relationship with customers, ensuring they consistently receive the best service. 

Most Versatile - Chris Waldie

Chris is an asset to the IT team and Netmatters' as a whole. He continually works above and beyond in his role and willingly takes on widely varying extra work to ensure the job gets done. 

Peer's Peer - Rob George

Rob has arguably the most difficult job in the business as the manager of the IT department but has absolutely excelled in his role due to his ability to keep clients, staff and management happy. 

Notable of the Year - Jim Palmer

Jim has impressed all this year with his appetite for winning business and delivering on client expectations. He always has a smile on his face and an optimistic attitude, and will help anyone at the drop of a hat.
