Congratulations to SCS Graduate Luke Youngman

We are pleased to announce that after spending 9 months on our Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Luke Youngman has successfully graduated. We were so impressed with his work and how he took to web development, we have offered him a position here with us!

The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why, the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment. The Scheme has also recently been awarded The Princess Royal Training Award.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of varying companies in the East Anglian region like Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.

During his time on the scheme, Luke has remained focused and driven with his learning. We have no doubts that he will excel in his career in the future and will act as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.

"Luke has been an excellent student since his start on the course and his focus and determination to get everything correct will put him in a really great position to start his career. His confidence continues to grow and has already been doing some excellent work for our clients." - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager

We’d like to once again congratulate Luke and are extremely thankful for the dedication shown throughout his time here. Please join us in wishing Luke congratulations and good luck with his career!
