February 2021 Notable of the month Employee

Every month we celebrate the most notable of employees here at Netmatters. Each department head is asked to nominate individuals they feel have gone above and beyond in the previous month. We have continued to see some fantastic examples of notable worthy behaviour again this month with staff doing their utmost to continue to deliver at every turn. 

There were a lot of nominations in February and one of the pillars of the IT Support team has been highlighted as this month's Most Notable of Notable Employees.

The Most Notable of Notable Employees

Adam Burns

Adam provided an excellent report to a potential new client and then backed this up in a meeting in a composed and confident nature when addressing questions with the client, some of which were incredibly challenging. Bossed it. - Robert George

Adam Burns – Very impressed with both his diligence and his confident delivery of a proposal/gap analysis to a prospective new client. – Elliott Peacock

Chris Waldie & Adam Burns – Both Chris & Adam went above and beyond to help resolve an Emergency Task, giving up their time to help ensure we got the client back working along with providing recommendations to improve their DR position. Teamwork makes the dream work - Robert George


This month's other Notables are as follows:

Eleanor Smith – Eleanor has been helping with our new product development and has done an excellent job in our initial research phase! – Adam Greer.


Rebecca Reynolds – Rebecca is customer-focused with every task she takes on and works hard to ensure their key measures of success are achieved. Rebecca’s a key asset to the Digital team supporting the wider Netmatters team where possible. – Lydia Whitney


Alex Jones - Alex always presents himself in such a positive and helpful manner. He is always happy to cooperate on issues that arise and assist to provide a solution where he can. He strives to provide a great service for his customers when communicating on work in hand and is generally an all-around cheerful person to work with. – Millie Pankhurst


Bethany Shakespeare - Bethany has a fantastic resilience and ability to focus and just keep going. She is incredibly reliable and has dealt with some tricky challenges, particularly with recruitment and the issues this has faced due to COVID-related circumstances. Including her direct part to play in maintaining our COVID secure status and meaning we have remained almost completely COVID free as a company. Excellent work Bethany. – Millie Pankhurst

Tessa Woodrow – Doing an excellent job steering a big project straight and true. – Elliott Peacock


Rebecca Reynolds – Called into action stations on short notice to aid with a tender submission and really came into her own producing a fantastic final submission, hugely appreciated and couldn’t have been done without you. – Elliott Peacock


Josh Ralph & Lewis Wilby – Been really impressed with their problem-solving abilities and presentation of this to a client in very trying circumstances. Top work! – Elliott Peacock 


Jim Palmer – Doing a great job in difficult circumstances and managing to stay positive. – James Gulliver


Tessa & Kayleigh – Doing a great job managing their roles and the expansion of the Scion scheme which is very challenging.  Your efforts are greatly appreciated. – James Gulliver


James Mackay – Managing client expectations and being a true client representative within Netmatters. Bringing good ideas to the table and helping develop his team.- James Gulliver


Samantha Lupton – Working hard as always and showing great resolve to deliver good results on complicated projects. – James Gulliver 


Matthew Chapman – Constantly goes into his IT Review Meetings with a clear knowledge of his clients, understanding of their needs, business requirements and makes excellent recommendations to his clients to improve their IT infrastructure. The consequence of this is that he then has 10 x solutions to complete for them which I am expecting nearly all of them to be accepted. Great work Chappers! – Robert George


Tom Bush – Tom has done a great job over the past few weeks in having over 100 laptops prepared for a client. It’s been a long process but done it with minimal fuss and getting the job done. - Robert George


Leon Burnham – Deputising in the POD leader role over the past month, Leon has done a great job in managing the team and ensuring he is promoting best practices and that standards are met. - Robert George

Craig Ward - Always a positive experience received when dealing with Craig, including great feedback. Craig is very diligent and things are gripped when assigned to him. – Chris Gulliver


Eleanor Gaskin - Great addition to the IT PM team, she is confident on the phone and presents her points well and in a format that is easy to understand. – Chris Gulliver


Leon Burnham - Good Effort, stepping in to manage the POD whilst other team members are away. Leon has gripped the extra responsibilities and fed back to the service manager. – Chris Gulliver 


Amanda Sharp - Assisting Elliott to get up to speed by providing on-the-job training – good feedback all round as well as doing all the other things she needs to do at the same time. – Chris Gulliver 


The IT Team - For embracing the NM workflow process and achieving excellent efficiency and consistently good results. Excellent work team! – Chris Gulliver 


Matthew Wastell - Prominent addition to the Account Management team, great to see the level of positive client interaction he is having. – Chris Gulliver


Jordan Newton & Kati Leeson  – Jordan and Kati have both been doing a great job recently with some large scale project work, this has involved a lot of meticulous planning and great communication from both Jordan and Kati to the customer keeping them abreast of progress and changes on the project and the customer has fed back with how impressed they were with our working and level of communication. – Tom Lancaster


Drew Halls - Has had a trying time with a variety of projects recently. He's dealt with it admirably, championing his role and ensuring we take forward the knowledge gained for the future. - Simon Wright


Adam Ferguson - Has done extremely well to maintain his usual excellent work rate and results. - Simon Wright


Kayleigh Hall – Going above and beyond to make sure all deadlines are achieved, a valiant effort! - Simon Wright 


Luke Youngman - Really stepping up on the project work and delivering to a high level that isn't going unnoticed by his customers. - Simon Wright
