Chris Gulliver Achieves The Carbon Literacy Certificate

Our green credentials are a central part of what makes Netmatters tick and we are constantly looking at ways of improving and building on what we are already doing in order to reduce our carbon footprint and do what we can to protect the planet.

In March this year we were proud to announce that we have achieved Carbon Neutrality through a variety of processes, and we continue to do what we can to educate ourselves, our people and our community about the importance of carbon reduction.

Today we are pleased to announce that one of our Directors, Chris Gulliver, has undertaken the Carbon Literacy Certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project.

Carbon Literacy is defined as:

“An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.”

The Carbon Literacy Project is based on the key aim that if we are to cut our carbon emissions by the kind of reductions demanded of us by science, then we will need to change culture alongside technology.

Chris and the rest of the team here at Netmatters are committed to driving cultural change to help reduce our impact even further.
