Skye Breeze monthly SCS graduate

We are pleased to announce that after spending 12 months on our Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Skye Breeze has successfully graduated. Skye has successfully secured a role at 4C Offshore, which is a fantastic achievement.

The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why - the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment. The Scheme has also recently been awarded The Princess Royal Training Award as well as securing the Skills of Tomorrow Award at the 2020 Norfolk Business Awards.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following the completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of companies in the East Anglian region (and beyond) such as Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems, and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.

During her time on the scheme, Skye has remained dedicated and driven with her learning. We have no doubts she will excel in her career in the future and will act as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.

"We're absolutely delighted to announce Skye succeeding in getting her first developer job. She has been so dedicated since her start on the course and she has put in so much extra hard work and effort in order to achieve her goals. She has been the first port of call for so many of her fellow students who needed help and she has always been willing to act as a mentor for many of them." - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager

We’d like to once again congratulate Skye and are extremely thankful for the hard work shown throughout her time here. Please join us in wishing Skye congratulations and good luck with her career!
