A proud moment for Netmatters, we are thrilled to announce our second consecutive Princess Royal Training Award!

Now in its eighth year, the Princess Royal Training Award exemplifies the T.R.U.E values that are centred at the core of our culture here at Netmatters. It applauds companies that go beyond conventional approaches, establishing innovative schemes to train, develop, and ensure the success of their employees.

The Princess Royal Training Award attracts entries from a diverse array of employers across various sectors, celebrating organisations of all sizes. From small not-for-profit entities to large multinational corporations, the recipients of this award all showcase a refreshing diversity and innovation in their learning and development initiatives.

The Princess Award Ceremony

The prized Princess Royal Training Awards ceremony was held this Autumn at the distinguished St James's Palace, London.

Cherishing the opportunity to attend the ceremony, Netmatters sent our very own James Gulliver, Kayleigh Hall, and Faizel Desai, all of whom had the esteemed honour of meeting Princess Anne herself!

“We are delighted to have received our second prestigious Princess Royal Training Award for our efforts in development and training. Our Scion Coalition Training Scheme is a testament to our commitment and dedication to addressing the regional skill shortage in software development and has, over the years, been tailored to provide increasing opportunities to people who have a passion for technology to develop their skills in an environment that fosters learning and development. From everyone here at Netmatters, I’d like to take a moment to say thank you for your continued support and for this prestigious award.” - James Gulliver

A Special Commendation

In addition to receiving the distinguished Princess Royal Award, we are immensely proud to have received a special commendation on the night for our outstanding efforts in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion. Standing among a select group of just 5 companies acknowledged in this manner, this special acknowledgement underscores our firm belief that an inclusive workplace is an essential driving force behind our success.

The Princess Royal Training Award

At Netmatters, we believe in creating an environment where every individual is not only valued but empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. This achievement reaffirms our T.R.U.E values and ongoing commitment to championing diversity, fostering equality, and promoting inclusivity at every level of our organisation.

The privilege of receiving these awards is a testament to our commitment to addressing the regional skill shortage in software development. Back in 2020, we were celebrated for our pioneering Scion Coalition Training Scheme, and today, we celebrate joining a plethora of companies on the winning podiums, all of whom have made, and are continuing to make, a significant impact on employee training and development.
