What you should bring:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Confidence using Canva for quick-turnaround content
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design work (required at the application stage)
- A commercially minded approach to design, understanding that work needs to perform, not just look good
- A keen eye for detail, layout and visual consistency
- Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced agency environment
- An interest in digital marketing, user experience and performance-led design
Extra skills that would be great:
- Familiarity with Figma
- Any experience with motion graphics or animation
- Basic videography or video editing skills
- Photography skills (shooting and/or editing)
- Broader interest or experimentation within graphic design disciplines
Some specifics of the role :
- This is a junior position, so no prior agency or industry experience is required
- You’ll be working as part of a collaborative digital team across a variety of client projects
- The role offers the opportunity to develop your skills across both digital and print design
- You’ll gain exposure to digital marketing, helping you build an understanding of UX/UI and performance insights that inform design decisions
- You’ll be supported in growing your commercial understanding of design and client needs
Activities you will be directly involved with are:
- Designing creative assets for digital and print (social media, websites, brochures, presentations, etc.)
- Supporting the senior designer with project work and amendments
- Creating branded content in line with client guidelines
- Assisting with concept development and design ideas
- Preparing artwork for production or digital use
- Supporting the wider digital marketing team with entry-level tasks to help broaden your skillset
- Gaining hands-on experience with UX/UI principles and performance analysis to inform your design work
- Contributing to internal creative discussions and product development
Hours: 40 hours per week
