JW Automarine is a leading UK-based manufacturer specialising in radio-frequency welded PVC and PU fabric products, including inflatable and rigid flexible fabric systems used across marine, subsea, rescue, military, and industrial sectors. With over five decades of experience, the company has established itself as a go-to manufacturer within the global subsea and marine industries. Their innovative, high-performance solutions are trusted by some of the world’s largest engineering and offshore organisations.
Alongside their core manufacturing business, JW Automarine also operates JWA Rentals, a dedicated division providing specialist marine and subsea equipment rental.
Despite their strong industry reputation, JW Automarine recognised that their existing websites were holding them back from achieving their marketing and lead generation goals. Both the JW Automarine and JWA Rentals sites were outdated in design, difficult to navigate, and lacked the functionality and flexibility needed to communicate effectively with their specialist audiences.
From a user experience (UX) perspective, the sites were not optimised for modern browsing habits. Poor structure and limited content control made it difficult for internal teams to update key information, showcase new products, or leverage digital marketing campaigns.
Crucially, the sites also lacked search engine optimisation (SEO) foundations and multilingual capability, essential for reaching their international customer base. With the business poised for growth and diversification, it became clear that a complete overhaul was needed to bring both websites in line with the company’s ambitions.
Our web design team delivered two fully custom WordPress websites, each designed to meet the distinct goals of JW Automarine and JWA Rentals while maintaining a unified brand identity.
We implemented a modern, UX-led design approach that prioritises intuitive navigation, clear content hierarchy, and visual storytelling, ensuring visitors can easily understand the company’s expertise and product offering. Each site features a bespoke page builder tool, empowering internal administrators to manage and expand content without technical limitations.
