To support their expanding needs and modernise their IT infrastructure, M+A Partners engaged our IT support services to streamline operations and enhance security.

The Challenge

Opportunities To Improve Infrastructure

To meet M+A Partners' expanding needs, the partnership focused on four key objectives:

  1.  Ensuring a seamless migration by gradually transitioning IT services to our management while minimising downtime
  2.  Elevating and consolidating cybersecurity measures across their systems
  3.  Empowering M+A's internal Business Services Team with the tools and knowledge needed to handle frontline support requests
  4.  Implementing advanced cloud backup solutions to optimise IT systems for scalability and reliability.

The Solution

A Comprehensive, Phased IT Transformation

To meet M+A Partners' needs, we implemented a comprehensive strategy that balanced immediate upgrades with long-term sustainability. We adopted a phased onboarding approach to ensure every aspect of the migration was thoroughly planned and executed, allowing us to migrate critical systems, such as email and servers without disrupting day-to-day operations. 

We took over the management of all Microsoft 365 licences and Azure products, including multiple servers hosting critical business applications, optimising configurations for better performance and cost efficiency. All DNS and domain services were also migrated to our management, providing M+A Partners with centralised control over their web presence and email routing. On the security side, we replaced their existing solution with Vipre Email Security, offering advanced threat protection against phishing and malware, and implemented Exclaimer signatures to ensure consistent, professional email branding across the organisation. 

We also took over and migrated Threat Locker, advanced endpoint protection software, to provide robust security against unauthorised applications and potential cyber threats. We trained M+A's Business Services Team to handle initial support requests, enabling them to become the first point of contact for day-to-day IT queries. This reduces response times and allows our team to focus on more complex and strategic IT challenges. Finally, we migrated the phone system to a SIP2Teams solution, integrating Microsoft Teams with enterprise-grade telecoms for a seamless communication experience.
