Netmatters would like to congratulate Leo ‘Ed’ Oxbury on passing the PRINCE2 Project management course.
As Project Manager, on our technical support team, Ed has really gone above and beyond his daily responsibilities; in pursuit of this internationally recognised accreditation.
The PRINCE2 Certification program is a principles-driven management methodology, which emphasises dividing projects into manageable stages to optimise control. After researching the best opportunities available to expand his knowledge and competence, Ed chose to complete the PRINCE2 qualification, to best further increase his understanding of effectively managing projects; particularly as many of the projects he undertakes in IT require a defined and structured planning method, from start to finish.
After successfully completing the course, Ed now was a much greater confidence - and understanding - in how to plan, control and implement a clean management strategy from project inception, right through to completion. With a clear escalation process, and recognition of the vital importance of clearly assigned responsibilities and accountability, the PRINCE2 programme will allow Ed to provide the greatest support - with both his customers and peers - in all projects he’s involved with.
Upon completion of this accreditation, Ed had the following to say, “I would absolutely recommend this training to anyone involved in projects of any scale; it provides an incredible insight and education into how to successively manage projects and provides clear outlines for the management, and delegation, of all deliverables”.
This is the first of many qualifications Ed intends to pursue, in the pursuit of continually improving and honing his working and management methods. In recognition of this, we would like to extend our gratitude to Ed for the hard work, commitment and extra hours he put in to achieve this certification. We’re all extremely proud of Ed’s ambition, determination and hunger to succeed and will, of course, support him fully in all his future endeavours; and desired professional growth.
