Stefan Graduates the SCS

We are pleased to announce that after four months on our Netmatters Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Stefan Lynn Smith has successfully graduated. We were so impressed with his work and how he took to web development, we have offered him a position here with us!

The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why, the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment.

Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of varying companies in the East Anglian region like Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.

During his time on the scheme, Stefan has taken to web development expertly. He has proved himself to be an confident developer with a great attitude to learning. We are confident he will excel in his new role here with us and his success acts as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.

"Stefan has been a real asset to our Scion Scheme. He has approached web development confidently and taken learning in his stride. Overall, the experience has been incredibly rewarding for both Stefan and Netmatters and look forward to supporting him through his web development career" - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager

We’d like to once again congratulate Stefan and are extremely thankful for all of the dedication shown throughout his time here. We hope you join us in wishing Stefan congratulations and good luck with his career!
